Skorbie

Skorbie is one of the fun new lawn games to surface in the last couple years. This game combines teamwork, competition, offense and defense, plus decision making and strategy!

Place at least one ball within 2-feet, 6-inches of your teams taucer and gain a designated point. Land a ball inside your team’s taucer… DOUBLE YOUR POINTS! Place your team’s ball closer to your opponent’s taucer… NEGATE THEIR POINTS!  It's EASY and FUN!

Skorbie can be played on grass or sand and there is no limit to the size of the field!

Rules of Play:

• Each team plays with one (1) Taucer and three (3) balls.
• Play to 21, win by 2.
• Two teams compete, two players per team.
• Both teams throw from the same throw line.
• All ties always go to the defense.
• The team that throws their Taucer first, also throws their ball first. The teams take turns, first throwing the Taucer's and then each team throwing one ball at a time until all 6 balls are played.
• The team with the lesser points always throws second.
• A Game Rotation involves both teams throwing their respective Taucers and 3 balls, adding up the scores, and walking across the field to the opposite throw line, starting a new Game Rotation.
• A Taucer that lands between score zones will always be played for the lesser value.
• A team can play offense and defense during the same Game Rotation. However, a team can only gain points by throwing toward their own Taucer (offense). It is possible to negate your opponent's point and gain points during the same Game Rotation.
